[Even though the other couldn't see it, Yata made a face. Wow. This guy talked even weirder than Saruhiko. Using big words like 'strenuous' annoyed Yata, but luckily he was able to understand what the Black Dog was saying without having to ask him to explain himself. That didn't mean he didn't have questions though.]

[Yata makes a sound of surprise from the other end of the line as Kuroh reveals that he comes from a time when they haven't defeated JUNGLE yet. Obviously, it's going to take a while before all these different canon points make sense to the vanguard.]

[Yata's lucky. If Anna comes here--not that he'd ever want her to, but if she does come here, then she'd be a mongrel like him and he'll be able to stay by her side always. But the Black Dog and his King are from different castes. Even though the ban on mongrels in Tanagura has been lifted, he still can't imagine it being easy for them.]
With the recent changes in law, there's no reason he can't reside in Tanagura with me. The apartments in Eos Tower can comfortably house several people.
[ It's certainly much less cramped than living in the student housing at Ashinaka. ]
Even in the worst case scenario, there's nothing preventing me from simply staying in Midas, either.
Oh... [He and Saruhiko had to deal with living apart for so many months now that Yata had forgotten the ban had been lifted. There really was no stopping the Black Dog from bringing his King with him to Tanagura, without making him a pet.]
[Yata's finger pauses over the 'end call' button. The Black Dog is the only other person from their world that he has spoken to here besides Saruhiko, so he's really hesitant to cut this short. The two of them haven't really worked together that much though, except for that one time--]
Hey. I haven't thanked you properly yet for helping me save Anna before. So...you know...if you or your King ever need help or anything....
[ The thanks catches Kuroh off guard. He'd been thanked by Anna once already, after all, and he wouldn't have expected to hear such words from Yata in any case.
He's not about to decline the offer, however. ]
I understand. Being from the same world, we shouldn't hesitate to work together when the situation calls for it.
